Dr. Sekerka’s teaching and scholarship takes a positive approach to applied ethics. Observing how people see themselves as ethical while engaging in unethical behavior, she works to advance ethics education for learners of every age. Her award winning research appears in books, journals, proceedings, and special issues on business ethics. As Director of the Ethics in Action Research & Education Center at Menlo College, she works with business leaders to establish workplace cultures that foster moral competency in daily decision making. Known globally as a business ethics specialist, she provides workshops to help employees build personal and organizational ethical strength.
